I used to have an ambition to make my own chainguard, but gave up due to the fact that I don't really need any more projects. Nice job OP.
I always liked the old leather covered chainguards, but the guard has to be pretty rigid. |

Thanks for those en.hollandbikeshop.com and rosebikes.com links -- great selection of fender mounting hardware, that's where I'll turn if I ever make some laminated wood fenders (my dad has experience making laminated wood longbows). This looks like it would be just right, or maybe this. It sure would be nice to get those prices without the shipping though...
Or maybe I could use this or that? Oh wait, looks like Niagara Cycle has what I'm looking for... |
