Humorously, part of their special (expensive) bag attaches directly to the carbon fiber. You know, carbon fiber is great at abrasion resistance and acts perfectly fine when it gets slightly damaged by repeated impacts by a weighted object to the exact same spot. :rolleyes:

Many years ago when I was painting R/C car bodies, I learned you can fake the weave pretty effectively by painting black, then using a rubber drawer liner as a mask and spraying with gunmetal or silver.
