N+1 got me again.

Walked into a performance bicycle shop in lynnwood yesterday looking for a set of brake rotors for my Trek District (careless cyclist ran into my front wheel yesterday and bent my rotor, snapping one of the tines) and ended up walking out with a 2015 Charge Plug Sora (equivalent to a charge plug 3) and of course the new rotors and pads.
I've been wanting a drop bar roadie for com muting anyways, and it had been discounted from 1199.99 retail to 499.99... I couldn't pass it up!! All I have to do now is put a decent set of tires and a rack (and cyclocomputer) on it!

Pics to come later

Bikes: ...a few.

I probably would have done the same. That's why I seldom visit the LBS.

Last year I bought a Charge Plug "Performance Edition" from Performance Bicycles, which I believe is identical to yours. Mine is black, and I'm guessing yours is gray. I love it for commuting! You can search bikeforums for my entries on it. Just a heads up...the rear fender/rack mount holes on mine were not standard bicycle threads, they are Metric M6 (medium pitch?) I think. I discovered this when I tried to mount my fenders and rack. The supplied fender and rack bolts didn't fit. The front fork fender mounts were standard and the supplied fender bolts worked. The rear fender clearance was tight with the supplied Kenda Small-Block Eight tires. There is a threaded hole on the small bridge that connects the seat stays, I ended up drilling a hole in the rear fender and using a flat head screw to secure the fender there which helped a lot. Those tires were grippy and comfortable, but didn't corner as well as the other smoother 700x38 street tires on my other bike. I rode the Small Block Eights for a year and recently replaced them after a major puncture, and now I am happier in the corners.

According to the Charge Bicycles website the 2016 Plugs are aluminum (Except the Titanium 2016 Plug 5). So I feel the 2015 Charge Plug is special, and at the price you paid, it is an unmatched value. Comfortable, fast and quiet, I love my Charge Plug! Please post photos of yours!

Really liking how this bike rides! Feels so much faster and easier to pedal than my District or my varsity!

Those are not the Kenda Small Block 8 tires mine came with. Enjoy! (Did you have my problem mounting the rack?)

It came with the small block 8s, I just put my Continental contacts on. I disliked the buzz from the kendas.
Yep. Had to go find bolts that would fit. Next thing (when I have the money) is putting fenders on. Nice aluminum ones if I can find em

gorgeous bike. if your rack trunk ever obscures your strobe you might like to clamp one on the rack support arm like this
