27.5x2.1-2.25 tire suggestions?
I have a Specialized Roll that I'd like a bit more off-pavement capability with. The Nimbus tires that come on it are fine, and not in bad condition, but I'll be moving back to Phoenix and riding it around there, which means it's not going to be a strictly pavement machine. Can anyone suggest a tire that's still relatively nimble on pavement but isn't a road slick like what's on it?
Note; bike has fenders and a rack, the rear tire currently clears the rear fender by about 1/4" at the top, so clearance for a 2.3+ knobby may be an issue. I'd like to keep some squish to the ride, so minimum width for me is 2"

Look at 650b cyclocross tires.
The Soma Cazadero
Cazadero Tires (700c/650b x 42mm) | SOMA Fabrications
Is a little narrower than yours, I think.
It appears to have good tread, plus a center wear strip.
