Yeah but the study is from Portland, so it's only relevant to retirees from NYC :-p

I am surprised by the three guys on road bikes in the opening pic. I figure there'd be more fixies.

Fixies are still common here, but they're on the way out. I see a lot of SSFG and coaster brakes in the flat part of Manhattan.
