I can't view the clip-but assume the cyclist is holding him/herself up with a hand on a car.

I've only done that once, while on tour. Cycling into Istanbul proper I got really lazy in hectic/yet stop&go traffic, and reached out + held onto a utility trucks side view mirror-rather than unclipping. The folks in the truck were really cool about it, and didn't make a fuss. It took me a bit to realize that it wasn't that bright of an idea (brain to hand-"stay away from truck!"...).

Well if I was going to hold onto a car at a stoplight, i'd do it at the back where they can't see. Although I never do it.

If I'd tried that back in TN I'd have been shot. In the back of the head. With somethething explosive. And then billed for the cleaning fees.

Now that I live in CT, the "avoid other vehicles at any and all costs" instinct hasn't abated any.

Heh...I can't help it that clip is funny.

Dudes gotta learn to trackstand or unclip

Here...the driver would probably respond by backing up, then running over you and running the light.

I have done that on busses in Adelaide, the drivers didnt seem to mind, as long as I let go when the lights went green.

ROFLMAO. That's something I would do to a cyclist if they touch my car! Awesome video.
