I was right-hooked this morning, though I didn't have to brake or change course. I took the entire lane to prevent a right hook because at this one spot, there is a right turn lane ahead. The car driver behind me didn't want to fall in behind me, so he passed me too closely on my left and then turned in front of me. I yelled but his windows were closed, and he might not have heard me.
Then a minute later, a car driver was making a K-turn, and I passed behind him. He started backing up towards me, and this time my yelling did get him to stop.

They're probably the same drivers who change lanes 3 times every block to move up one car length at the next stop sign.
