My daughter is in Belgium en route to a cycling holiday around Lake Constance with her 3 boys. Yesterday my grandson's bike was stolen! Today they are going to Luxembourg and then on to Germany. If they were going to France I'd advise them to go to a hypermarche and pick up a bike for him, but we know nothing about Germany. Can anyone help out here? A reasonable bike - where would we get it or would it be better to hire a bike and wait until they get back to England? Any advice welcome. Many thanks.

Same. Any decent sub-€300 would work. Just buy one in the current city that the family is in.
