Bikes: ...a few.

Nice, and by the look of it pretty brisk pace too.

That is nice. I was thinking similar thoughts last night when I rode home and it was 60F out.

Below freezing holy smokes! In Memphis we just broke the record high temperature for 9 October, hitting 91 degrees yesterday. Previous record was 90, which was the day my wife and I attended the Little Rock AR air show, and I remember vividly how hot it was that day.

In 1979 I drove my uncle's car from Chicago to Miami at Christmas time. I drove to Nashville where it got down below freezing overnight. The car was a 1974 Ford Elite...kinda like the Starsky and Hutch car but powder blue with a blue vinyl top and those big, big 1970's bumpers.

I stopped for lunch the next day on the Florida Turnpike where it was 75F. When I returned to the car there were a bunch of kids having a snowball fight with the snow from the car's bumpers. Too bad we didn't have cellphone cameras back then. (or cellphones for that matter)

Interesting ... zero traffic. No one walking either. Really dead ... I would feel lonely

I've had early morning commutes to work, if I leave between 5 and 5:30 AM, where I ride 15 miles and see zero cyclists, zero people walking, and only 5 or 6 total cars pass me. I can go months and hundreds of miles without seeing a single other cyclist on my commute route.

Just curious, why disable comments on all your videos?

Damn. We get quite bunched up. This morning going into work. There must have been around 50 cyclists over 2 miles or so.

The island is 9 mi2 with a population of around 250K people so the streets are always flooded with people and cyclists. Not as many as CPH, but quite a few.

I don't have the time or inclination to approve or police comments. I have seen Youtube pages with very "unpleasant" comments.
