3D printed parts for mudguards

Hello, I have modeled some accessories for mounting curana mudguards on a small on-one inbred frame and exotic fork. Now that winter is here (at north hemisphere) these parts can be usefull.
You can see details and download the files at youmagine

rear bridge: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/mudguard-bridge-rear

fork bridge : https://www.youmagine.com/designs/mudguard-bridge-front

fitting parts : https://www.youmagine.com/designs/mu...ing-parts-7-46

If you have any suggestions, requests or questions I am at your disposal.

Unsightly gap on the front, but otherwise looks good.

I would have shaped the front bridge to the radius of the front fender, but that's just me thinkin out loud. Very cool!!

What is this, a fashion show? It's a commuter forum and the fact the (s)he 3D printed and shared them trounces 99% of everything done round these parts.

I assume everyone is looking for feedback when they post on BF. It’s unsightly. Get over it.

Not at all. If you think it's unsightly, you need to get out more. I'm just impressed that you get work up over a small gap. On the other hand, I like functionality and utility and that's why cyccommute bikes are probably the best on here.

On the whole, the OP's fenders are quite interesting.

alan s, All feedback is welcome.
The Curana's internal wire mount dictates a bit larger gap than I would have liked. Gap = desired gap + wire diameter-shape. Also front and rear fender gaps are about the same; is the deferent viewing angle (a bit lower at the front) that makes the front looks bigger. Also take into consideration the shallow profile of the mudguard. (I think that the thread is getting derailed ... ).

cyclostam I think that it is so cool that you printed them. jealous of the opportunity. Do they zip ties hold the front fender in place on a suspension fork?
also how exactly do the rear mounts interface with the bike frame. I really like the rear fender. nice and clean!

RidingMatthew, Thank you.
I am not sure if I completely understand you, but I think you could zip-tie the fender at your suspension fork bridge. The rear "bridge" is mounted with bolts on the v-brake bosses. Unfortunately the rear part is specifically dimensioned to the small On-One Inbred frame and Curana's profile so I am not sure if it would be suitable for larger frames and different mudguards.

cyclostam, Those designs look very creative, well done. What printer are you using, your print resolution seems to be very high and final product is of high quality.

Nice project. It took me a moment to figure out the fork because it looks so much like a suspension fork. What keeps the front bridge from sliding up and down the fork legs?

Cool idea! Can you make some looog mudflaps too? You have to have good mudflaps if you want to keep all the crud off you and your bike.:thumb

Thank you all, for your kind words! @autonomy. My printer is a Prusa MK2. The filament is Prusa PLA silver. Layer height is 200μm. Prusa is a very capable FDM printer. @Darth Lefty, I just stick electrical tape on the fork, to avoid scratching it, but it is also prevents the bridge from slipping. @Colorado Kid, you are right but the bike is not mine (it is my girlfriend's and she doesn't like the look of the flaps).

Ah, Prusa. Heard really good things about them. The Makerbot 5 does OK but it has proven to be a dud.

It looks like a replacement rigid fork meant to convert a bike that originally came with a suspension fork (height corrected fork).
