Pulled the trigger on a new bike!!

So I went to the LBS and rode the Specialized Roll and the Roll Comp. I REALLY wanted to love that bike. But I didn’t...
rode a Trek FX2? It was ok. Then Rode the Specialized Men's Sirrus Sport. Boom! Loved it! Fast, nimble, perfect fit!
Only issue was the size. I’m short. 5’5 and 160. So they only had it in black with red wording. If I’m paying that much, I want the bike that looks like it rode. Sweet!
so I went for the really dark Blue. They are transferring from another location and I will pick up Saturday.
Super excited to pick out lights, water holder, etc. I have my helmet already. Still debating rack vs pack.....
thank you all for the input and advice.
Much appreciated

Bikes: 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile, Austro Daimler 'Ultima', 2012 Salsa Vaya, 2009 Trek 4300, Fyxation Eastside, State Matte Black 6, '97 Trek 930 SHX, '93 Specialized Rockhopper, 1990 Trek 950

NIce choice. I rode a dark blue Sirrus Sport for a couple years. I’m not sure what the new ones are like, but mine was almost a road bike but with flat bars. It was light and crazy fast. Lots of fun to whip up and down the streets with. I still use my Sirrus on my bike trainer during the harsh winter months.

Bikes: too many of all kinds

Sweet!

I recently got a new bike. I was pissed it was all black. So I got out some pinstriping and customized it. Darn it!

BTW - messenger bag all the way (most come with a chest strap).
I can't stand panniers on a windy day. Racks are OK if I"m not carrying much. Backpacks are too sweaty and hold the weight up high.

Photo here (messenger bag and empty rack...) Anyone bike on "bike to work" day? May 18th

So I got the Sirrus Elite Carbon. 😀 rode it after the other and went ahead and just went for it. No regrets. I have Armadillo tires coming in because of the industrial area I’m riding into for work. Speedoape
