Just hacksaw the same profile but moved over a bit. Drill a new hole in about the same place & reuse the old hardware. Easy-peasy. |

Then it should be easy. I was thinking plastic might have some special thickness in someplace or other that would make for difficulty.

It worked great- just sawed off a little of the end, filed the edge relatively smooth, drilled a new hole and it mounted just fine. |
Looks good! Very minimal and doesn't stand out

Here are some pictures of the finished product.

Hooray!
Good job. |
Nice build.
But why not go with a SKS Chainboard or equivalent? https://www.sks-germany.com/en/produ...nblade-series/ |

Perhaps I didn't look hard enough, but when I was looking for a chainguard, I didn't see any retailers in the US that sold those.

I've been toying with the idea of a coaster brake non-beach cruiser with flat bars. I kinda want a 2 speed hub like jskita has, but I haven't moved on this idea yet. :o |

Nice job. Metalwork can be a lot of fun. And your's looks way better than the SKS or anything adjustable. Proper fit parts will always look better than (and be lighter than, probably quieter than, less hassle than...), adjustable ones. |

I ordered one from Woody's for my new bike! Wooden chain guard: https://www.woodysfenders.com/wood-c...ard-cg-401.htm And there is this Canadian place that also does handmade ones: https://store.velocolour.com/category/chainguards |
