New neighbour in the bikerack

saw the Royal Mail bike again and that thing is awesome.

never seen one of these locked up before. I love the bell, which is polite for the peds.

anyone else got interesting neighbours in their bikerack?

I'm the only one right now locking up at my work bike rack. There are a few others that will ride from time to time but so far I have been the only one. Can't say I've ever seen one of those locked up either, normally I just see them lying around on the ground.

I checked it out and this one is expensive ...

with suspension and brake. Probably from a person commuting by rail.

Looks pretty solid actually:

Why do you suppose that the owner didn't simply take that inside with them? Is that in front of a small shop with no extra room inside?

Nah. It's a huge university building.

It's a dirty transport, so I wouldn't bring it inside. I don't take my bikes inside. No wear outdoor shoes inside. I make all the people in my lab not wear any outdoor shoes either inside the lab/building.

It's just good practice that I picked up in Sweden.

Maybe that person is the same way?
