How long does nashbar take?

I ordered some stuff from nashbar the other day (6/30) and it still hasn't gotten here. I understand that USPS can be a little slow (thats what they said it was being shipped on) but come on, this is getting annoying!

Ground shipping from Nashbar can take a week or longer. Taking in account the 4th of July holiday it may take even longer.

4th business day since you ordered and you're getting upset? Nashbar usually ship the next business day (maybe same business day if you ordered early in the day), so they probably shipped it out of the warehouse on Friday. Long weekend, so USPS starts sending it on Tuesday (maybe it got on the road Friday if you're lucky). You'll probably get it early next week.

You want it faster, you get the options to pay for upgraded shipping.

I usually get my stuff between 4 - 7 buisness days.

When does your order status say it was shipped? I got my last two orders in 2 days by 2nd day air and 3 days by USPS, and that's way out here in the middle of the pacific so I was amazed.

Not upset just a tad confused, it was sent out on the 30th, I understand the holiday and everything I just didn't expect it to take so long I usally order stuff and get it shipped reg mail and its here 2-3 days later.

Fair enough.

If Nashbar sent it out on the 30th, your confusion lies with the carrier, not Nashbar. It's pretty much out of their hands now...

their order always arrives on time here. then again, I figure the extra couple bucks on 2nd day shipping is worth it.

I always select second day air, which means I get it three business days after placing the order. It's worth the extra couple of bucks.

i can one up you:

i have an order thats still out from 6/27 (i'm hoping it gets here soon with my floor pump: i broke my floor pump and my tires need some high pressure air, my hand pump is no fun for daily use)....

i agree compared to most mailorder places they take their sweet time.

but hey with 20% off coupons littering the internet, plus the already low prices, they really have to be cutting costs somewhere.

Yeah you're telling me, my other glasses shattered this morning. And I was needing some new shorts, cause LBS charges like 60 US for them, and Nashbar sells some by Monday(?) for 20.

I shipped USPS from nashbar twice (3-5 day is really 6-7) before I figured it out. In the special instructions box, I just requested that they ship FedEx because USPS has no tracking number. My order shipped the next day and I was sent my FedEx tracking number. THREE days later (yes, only three) my order arrived in the afternoon without a single scratch, dent, or mar. Ask and you shall receive (on time).

What type of shipping did we have to deal with? "Standard" mail is usually 3 weeks across country, on an average. That's the standard we have to meet. Priority and First Class go first on all trucks/planes. The other poster is correct. The only way you can track something via USPS is when it's Express. Delivery Confirmation only shows when it's tried at the delivery point, not in between.
