Wow! I would've freaked too. You must've been really relieved to find that your wife had your bag. I've never thought about it before but I carry all of my stuff in a messenger bag and I guess that's one advantage of having your stuff attached to your body. I also like it becuase if you stop to run an errand on the way home you can just lock-up the bike and go. Your stuff automatically comes with you. You don't have to fuss with removing bags from the bike. Good luck with that payback to your wife!

Well, at least I don't have to worry too much about my Wald #535 falling off my bike - it's bolted on! And I would /definitely/ hear it if it somehow managed to fall off.

I agree. This is my first week with my low rider front rack. The bike feels way more stable with my panniers up front and low. Climbing is much better too without the weight of the rear flopping back and forth.
