Folks who find that interesting might also consider one of these PolyBrite belts, which are reflective + lighted with red LED:

For $5.50 + s/h, hey.

Doesn't look like it. No back vent either. Says breathable material, but doesn't describe. 'Fully lined' -- but with what? A glance at Google ... seems to only be available in the UK. Might be better to wear a blinking/lighted vest over an existing bike jacket?

I can just picture this conversation...

"Hey boss we finally finished that jacket with a light on it that I came up with! It's ready to go!"

"What if they wear a backpack or a messenger bag?"

" UM........ "

Folk's I sorry but all these "special" bike clothes just leave me
flat as they are so unneeded. Why would I say that??

For starters there are many, many types of reflective vests
or belts that allow you to wear good warm clothes when you ride
in the winter while still being useful in the summer , in the rain
or at night. Not to mention that once paid for the expense can
be divided by all the hours you wear them. No so with "special"
bike clothes.

For my money it's just impossible to beat a quality Lime green
safety vest for cycling year 'round.
