24 days of rain 10+" since 12/19. Ugh it looks like we will beat the record of 33 straight days. Maybe even hit that magic number of 40. Anyone building an ark yet?

I actually had to wade through sections of my commute yesterday and this morning. I can pedal up to about BB deep, but there are a few sections where it's even worse than that. The thing that has been most surprising is that there is actually a decent current over the road in one section. The only consolation is that the current near the flooded dairy flows towards the dairy rather than from it.
Tights, shoes, and socks aren't just drenched like the rest of me -- they're outright sopping wet.

In Alberta last year, some towns got an entire year's worth of precip [rain and snow equivalent] in a single weekend. It sucks, but this too shall pass.
