Have I got a deal for some lucky SPD user out there. About 3 months ago
when I was exploring what type of clipless pedals I might get, Sierra
Trading Post had some Airwalk Sprocket Plus mtb shoes, size 12 US only,
(Perfect!) on clearance at a price I could not pass up. At the time I was
pretty sure I would be going with SPD pedals. Of course, as you know by
now, I decided on Look. The Airwalks turned out to be too small anyway. I
have worn them a few times when I was using clips, hoping they might stretch
but no luck. These shoes are probably an honest 11.5 but not even close to
12. They are at least .5-.75 inches shorter than my other size 12s. Width
is medium to medium wide. These are NICE, good looking mtb shoes.
Excellent quality. Lace up with a zip cover to keep the laces clean and out
of trouble. Sole on the low end of aggressive. Built tough - roughout
leather uppers with heavy Cordura for the lace cover. If you have SPD
pedals or use regular platform pedals, these would be great. If you are
using clips and straps on aggressive toothy metal mtb pedals, the cleats are
just big enough that they might cause problems getting in, just a caveat.
If you want them they are yours.
Anyway, if anyone wants them and wears 11.5 US, you can have them FREE.
Send me an email at RainmanP@att.net
I would be happy just knowing that someone is getting some use out of them.
