Quiet electric cars, small imports, and worst of all... City Busses here in Ann Arbor are 40 feet long and the engine is in the back, if the road is smooth you can't hear 'em until they are already passing you. Oh, and they seem to have some sort of contest going to see which driver can pass cyclists the closest. Gotta have the mirror.

I have to agree with the other posters that say you need to keep all your senses and attention focussed on the ride.
