Chain guard?

Is it possible for me to buy a chain guard for my Atlantis? I'd rather my bike have chain guard than run around town with velcro around my pants when i don't want to change clothes just to run out and grab some lunch.

Just roll up the bottom of your RH pant leg a few turns.

Ya, something like that. Clear or gloss black.

Rolling up the pants leg thing is just as bad as the velcro.
Hey, look! There's a flood... but only on one side of my bike!

Speaking of chainguards, can you actually install one if you have a derailer on the front?

Nevermind, that link actually answered my own question. Now the problem of where to get it...

I also found this link from google, an old thread from this forum:

https://www.bikeforums.net/archive/in.../t-119009.html

I really want these: https://www.allproducts.com/manufactu...orce/sp30.html

I'll have to check with my LBS and see if they have it in thier catalog once the shellac on my handlebar dries.

I just roll up my pant leg...yeah it's dorky, but it's easier to be dorky than it is to find parts

And it's cheaper too!

Of course you could tie yer pantleg in with a piece of elastic from a sewing store.

If symmetry is a problem, you can roll up both pant legs. That's what I do!

d2, go with this one. It has a very Riv-Atlantis look to it. In fact, I've seen it on several before. It's understated, classy, and functional. I bet you could even make one if you're an artistic tinkerer.

I usually just stuff my pant leg into my sock. Now that's dorky.

The annoying thing is that practically every city bike in Italy comes with a chainguard like that.... Its annoying because it was on my list of items to bring back with me to the USA when I moved back. I forgot to pick a couple up They are darn near impossible to find here but availabe at almost EVERY shop in Italy. Yes, they do work with FDs too I almost bought my wife a bianchi city bike with a triple, fenders, light, chainguard, rack...for about $400....ran out of time and never got a chance to get it before heading back.

There are so many shapes and sizes of guards over there, some metal, some plastic. There's got to be a way to get some here in the USA???

Dispose of your top ring, and get a bash guard! Then you can work on jumping onto things rather than just off things... get some TRIALS in your life!
Mabye you can even put those on without removing your top ring, but im not sure. I run all singlespeed, sept my roadie
I have these on all of my bikes... sept my roadie.

Do you have any idea where to get them online? I went to the bike shop today and they looked at me funny.
