Showerless cleanup

What happened to the search function???
My boss is helping me out here to find a shower or locker room but no luck so far. As of now I have a small bathroom with a handycap stall. No shower, no lockeroom. What are my options? I need to be as descrete as possible so walking around in a towel or shirtless is not an option.
So far I've read that a sponge bath, baby wipes or baby powder works. Any other possibilites??
My current plan is to wet down my head and dry off with a small towel and a sponge bath for the pits and neither region. Any other tips, please.
So basically I need advise/tips on cleaning up in a bathroom...
I may have a short trip, but with the heat, I still expect to get quite sweaty.
Thanks,
scott

Search is temporarily disabled due to server problems. See News and Announcements -forum for details on that.

As far as cleanup goes, this seems to work for many: shower at home before leaving, then use baby wipes or similar once you get to workplace.

I wear a t-shirt instead of a biking jersey when I ride. Then when I get to work I use the t-shirt to soak up the sweat and towel off with that. I then change into the clothes that I brought along for work.

2nd that, I leave baby wipes at work and they seem to work fine, but I usually work alone so I'm not too worried.

OH! I was missing it... thanks for the info, I thought it was just me

No shower at my office either and I sweat like a guy
I keep, shoes, a towel, baby wipes, deodorant & hair spritz at the office. I try to arrive 15 minutes earlier than required so I can clean up and change in the rest room at the office... ya know, cuz they don't make fully enclosed phone booths anymore

Add baby powder post baby-wipe to take care of the post-wipe pre-work cool down and you'll be as fresh as a post-changed baby.

I shower the night before and then ride 30 miles into work in the morning. Cleanup is never an issue. I use a wet paper towel and throw my deodorant on. No problems with BO.
My boss has personally promised to throw me out on my arse if I am ever stinky. 1 yr and no issues.

Of course, other factors come into play.
-Denver is arid
-I weigh 165lbs. I sweated quite a lot more when I was 200+lbs
-I now wear breathable\wicking clothing.
-Winter clothing caused me to sweat like crazy due to my inefficient choice on layering.
Summer doesn't have this issue.
-I commute in the coolest part of the day going into work.

You should see me on the way home. egads
I actually soak my jersey with sweat and it has only been in the lower 90s here. I can't wait for it to hit the 100s.

I ride an hour in very warm, humid conditions. Even in winter, I sweat a great deal into my clothes.

I never shower at work. All I do is shower in the morning, use deodorant, and use three sets of clothes: one to ride to work in, one to work in, and one to ride home in. If I'm clean in the morning, and I change into clean clothes (using deodorant) when I get to work, I'm fine (I also find a little hair conditioner in the "nether regions" to be an amazing deodorant.)

Your plan above is probably just fine.

I just shower in the morning before the ride to work. Towel off, apply deodorant and change cloths at work. No problems with BO.

For the umpteenth time on this thread I recommend that you shower before you leave. The funky smell mostly comes from bacteria and the showering washes much of the bacteria away so that when you sweat you will not smell as much.

When I commute by bike I arrive 20+ minutes early and use a bathroom not often frequented in order to wash up standing in front of the sink. I reapply deodorant. Mmmm...this advice is being repeated. Sorry to drag it on and on.

Probably mostly, alcohol (let us know when you get it). I sometimes use a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol to kill off the bacteria after using the baby wipe, when a restroom or better are not available.

edit: OK the link says witch hazel, small amount of alcohol, water, etc.; but let us know the proportions please.
