I built up a saddle from an old Specialized saddle. I removed all the padding and put a AAA goatskin cover on it. Yeah, this didn't work out well, I am walking like a cowboy. Question A, should I get shorts with a chamois, or Question B should I add padding to this thing? If I add padding what should it be and where.
Sore crevices suck. Hurts to walk!

Uh, spend $10 at the used saddle bin at your LBS. Something you don't see much of is home made saddles. There's a reason for that....

kotex shorts and a brooks saddle'll cure what ails ya pilgrim.

and once ya break in da brooks, ya won't even need the kotex shorts!

There's a guy here in Georgia that rebuilds old saddles...Recycled Saddles

You could either send it to him (really reasonable prices), or reverse engineer his design and do it yourself
