college bike

ive got a single speed used road bike that i was used in a race at indiana university. now imusing it as a commuter and a much smaller campus, but still big enough for a bike. ne one have suggestions as to what i should do to it?

edit- dont forget that i am a poor college student with a low budget!!

Leave it alone? Sounds like your commute is pretty short, so I don't see a reason for panniers. Invest in a good messenger bag.
