On 2004 I bought a Commençal Stewart road bike. Max Commençal was the old times Sunn bike brand Manager who decided to create his own brand (www.commencal.com). Because of the special price I got a frame that was too small for me. Then, I swapped all the parts to a new Specialized Roubaix road frame.
The Commençal was waiting for its best moment to come back to life. This summer I sold my '93 Diamond Back Response turned into a weird and 36 pounds urban bike, a Polar heart rate monitor and a pair of Adidas MTB shoes to get part of the money I needed to create my new urban bike. After a few more bucks than expected I added all the parts that you can see to the Commençal frame and appeared this too fancy for thieves bike. The result is a comfortable, fast and reliable bike for my commute.
Mavic Classics wheels, onoff seat post and bars, Commençal stem and carbon fork, Fizik Arione saddle, Deore MTB, 105 road and TA mix for brakes and transmission and a lot of illusion.
