More on Bike Theft

So I've always remembered some advice I received once about theft. This originally pertained to aftermarket stereos in cars (back in the day), but I wonder...

A creative co-worker wonk once suggested using razor blades as washers when bolting the nice stereo to the visible mounting brackets in my car. It conjurs interesting visions of someone getting what they deserve but I've never applied this anywhere. I bet there are similar traps you could set for would be bike thieves.

When I came out of the grocery store a couple days ago, there was some teenage-lookin' kid scoping out my bike. I don't know if he was just reading all the stickers on it, or looking to see if he could snag it, but he didn't even hear me walk up behind him. I tapped him on the shoulder and jingled my keys in front of his face. He looked pretty scared and walked off quickly.

I need a new sticker: Warning. This bike protected by Sasquatch-sized owner. Approach either at your own risk.
