Thanks for the input. Apparently automobiles and telephone poles have no effect either.

no bike can stand up to extremes. I was just trying to point out that ordinary riding isn't gonna kill it anymore than an expensive frame would get killed by normal riding. it's a cheap tank. it just rides like a concrete Huffy

Aw, c'mon... no blood-no foul ;)

If nobody was interested in this little soap opera, it would fade away; but since it rarely leaves the front page, I think it deserves to stay. It's like a sticky without actually being a "Sticky". How much more democratic can that be? It's certainly more entertaining than,"I dusted a roadie on my way to work...."

However, I do think we should focus more on why the Denial and it's ilk are a waste of money and less on Cig's personal "accomplishments" - even though they are good for a laugh.

I want to hear more from the defenders of the bike. Seems they fall into one of two camps:
  • Those that use it as a beater and understand it's a disposable piece of crap that won't be missed if it's stolen.
  • Those that have never ridden a decent bike, and so, have nothing to compare it to - (i.e., potted meat can be pretty tasty if you've never had filet mignon, or even a decent hamburger...).
