One barrier seems to be lifting where I work. Our landlord owns a bunch of buildings downtown, and one just a block away from ours has women's & men's showers and lockers. I just found out that if you're a tenant of any of his buildings, you can use the showers and a locker if one is available. Some coworkers who have resisted biking to work because of how far they'd have to ride without a shower were really intrigued. I think they'll be likely to give it a go in the spring.
