For the love of it
Two time world grand prix champ Graham Hill used to bike 100 miles every weekend to his girlfriend's home in London (he lived out in the sticks and worked in a machine shop). Then every Sunday, he'd bike100 miles home. In his autobiography, he said the problem was he was so tired after biking 100 miles to his girlfriend's house, he would usually fall asleep and was not very amorous. The solution was, they eventually got married.
