Sorry to hear about it.

Wow even though I haven't got a clue about what a cager is, its sounds nasty. A reminder to us all that the roads can be a dangerous place through no fault of your own.

I'm off to Google for a cager, Sounds like a rabbit or a small dog!

I can understand your anger and almost can congratulate you for the kick. Kicking the car tho. Seems gravity would almost take a bike down. Many of us might like to be able to do the same in similiar situations. Once when spat on, I'd loved to have had a baseball bat.

My hideous countenance BEFORE the accident would have been borderline gruesome.

There's a pic on my blog:

FYI, I only use the term cager when the driver (or passenger(s)) are being genuinely unfriendly. JAM (Jack*** motorist) would also be an appropriate name.

axOn,

Was there a speed camera at the intersection? If so, I would consider contacting a lawyer. Another option might be a camera at a business at the intersection.

Good luck.

Breaking your face sucks. I did it once several years ago, but yours sounds much worse, Ax0n. Had to have surgery to get things straightened out. Got blood out of my sinuses for almost a year afterward, every time I blew my nose.

Heal soon.

No cameras anywhere.

Fortunately I have health and dental insurance, so aside from my pride this shouldn't hurt me too bad. My teeth were in great shape. They were a little crooked as a kid but braces fixed them up. I'd never had a cavity though and only had a small chip in the one tooth that's really busted up now, back from my elementary school days.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Cosmetic and dental repairs are relatively high-tech these days. Not much to do about broken noggins, though, and in that you're lucky if such a horrific incident has any bright side to it. Take care and use ICE as frequently as you can stand it.

At least your bike will be waiting for you...

Then this would definitely be an appropriate time to use one of those terms. Glad you're alive, hope you get well soon.

Hope you heal up fast. If you can remember anything, you may still be able to identify the car that did this to you. People are creatures of habit and tend to show up in roughly the same places at the same time.

I hope that something comes out and is able to identify that driver.

I'm glad you're alive, ax0n. Heal fast!

Get well soon and I am glad that it was not worse. You will be back in the saddle in no time....
cagers suck and the fact that he or she did not stop means some bad mojo is going to come back around.
Feel better soon and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
