Novara Transfer
I want to thank all of you for your inputs about the differences between the REI Novara Tranfer and the Breezer line. I have been reading the different foums for about a month and finally chose the 2007 Novara Transfer. Yes it is a lesser bike than the Breezer but also $280.00 less with the great sales REI has. The only flaw I have noticed was when the bike is loaded, the kickstand does not seem to be long enough and the bike will tip over. I bought a longer kickstand for $7.00 at Bicycle Village and it did the trick. I rode it to work 3 days this week and I love it. The Handlebars seem funky but I was told they are designed that way too hold a special bag with a map pocket. Anyway, thats my rave about this wonderful bike.

Bikes: Ebay Bikes... =)
I have a grocery / misc / utility hauler ... I paid $ 70 for it from a friend of mine who rebuilt most if it before his overweigh wife chucked it to the corner in exchange for the couch and some TV ..
I wonder how much better your bike would be? Or more efficient ?
Does a great job for me !

Loose the kickstand, get yourself a velcro strap to wrap around your front brake lever, and lean your bike against anything, and ever have it move a smidge.
I've seen loaded tourers, on kickstands, go BOOM, just in a gust of wind.

I live in a small, close in suburb and find myself riding that bike everywhere. No more road rage for me!
It's a pleasure to tool around town in a bike made for it. If you are like me, you'll begin to wonder why everyone doesn't have those 7 speed hubs. It is nice.

You can find the Novara Transfer 2006 for $399 and the Novara Fusion 2006 for $499, you can only buy then at the stores. Make sure you call first to make sure they have them. I just bought one they didn't have it built so I have to wait a couple of days but I saved over $200.
