Put my manager on a bike

My manager decided to start commuting on a bike. Our company has moved closer to his home and he wanted to buy a bike for that. I offered him my spare bike so he can start riding first, and than decide which bike he wants. I brought him a bike on Friday and checked the route. He has a very nice commute of about 3 miles one-way, half of it on a bike path along a creek, another half on a bike lane on a quiet street.

And he did showed up on a bike on Monday shining and excited!

Does it mean he will let you drive his car?

Now you need to teach him all the maintenance and set up stuff that he'll need. A subtle nudge towards doing this at his place over a couple of beers could be good for the career too...

Now that you and your manager are "riding buddies", it's time to talk $$$$.

The president of our company and several managers ride in most days [not as often as me, though ]. Kudos to you for helping your employer out!

i have some people asking me about bike opinions who i work with. they never actually purchase one though. i think talking about being healthy is enough for some to think they are healthy.

That is the same concept as the ladies at my gym who dress up in a nice matching workout suit, go to the gym, and lounge around near the equipment. Apparently a new form of weight loss involves no exercise but simply being near the equipment.
Excuse me I'm going to go stand by my bike now and loose a few lbs.
