I'm a commando now

First time "commando style"

Guess what I forgot to pack in my trunk bag today? I'll really have to get an emergency clothing set stashed in my office, this is not the only time I've forgotten an article of clothing.

Why anyone would wear underwear with bike shorts is beyond me quite frankly.

I believe he meant he forgot his undies to wear for work since he is already commando on the bike with cycling shorts on(a guess).

I actually bought a pair of Dallas Cowboys boxers at the grocery store around the corner last month under similar circumstances.

if only WaWa sold underwear...

for the record, I meant that I was sans underwear for my office clothes, not bold enough to wear my lycra bike shorts and regular shirt for Corptopia - would look a tad strange. "Commando style" they will never know the horrors lurking beneath....

lol... i turned around and came back to grab my cell today.... upon entering the house I hear the dryer going where my forgotten shirt is... Dodged a bullet there...picturing myself in a pro-motion blue Hawaii type jersey at the office.... I have had to a commando stance on a few occasions as well.

I can imagine being the cashier in that situation--guy comes into a grocery store in the middle of the day and buys underwear. Either he "forgot" something or he had an "accident." Since most people don't forget their underwear (yeah, I know, bikers are among the only ones), I'd be thinking that the guy had an accident...

Couldn't you just put your pants on over your cycling shorts?

Bikes: A few.

I got over going commando when I was a commando. Except when it's cold out.

Thought about that, but decided otherwise based on

a)would look like I was wearing depends

and probably more importantly

b)colony of skin eating bacteria would attack my pride and joy(s)

It's been a long, long time since I've gone commando, wasn't that bad - just think of them as very long, coarse bathing trunks...

LOL I did the same thing yesterday! Of course, I wear gym shorts over my bike shorts when riding to the office, so i just wore those. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I still don't really want to do that again.

I do this time and time again. No way I would wear my bike shorts throughout the day - yuck. Commando it is, and I don't mind.

I go 'commando' all the time. I especially like it when I ride to work.

I consistently forget a bra when I bike to work.
Forgot my socks once....can't remember if I wore Sponge Bob cycling socks or some other goofy design.

I've forgotten socks three times. First time I wore cycling socks to work. Second time I stopped at a store and purchased a pair. Third time was last week, during my vacation. An hour before I had to leave for dinner with friends I noticed I forgot to pack dress socks. There was no store near the hotel in downtown Cleveland selling socks. So it was either white athletic socks or my red cycling socks to wear with my dress clothes. I went with red and pretended I was making a fashion statement.

I thought everyone went commando - at work, home, or wherever.

I'm not sure your thong is exactly going commando, Ron.
