commuting withdrawls

As I've got a flight out of La Guardia this afternoon, I commuted to work via bus and train. The bus was hot, smelly, and got stuck behind a working garbage truck. The subway car I chose was covered with a nice coating of spilled coffee, and packed, of course. Took about 15 minutes longer than the bike.

Any NYers have experience biking to La Guardia? Is it feasible?

Where would you lock up that would be safe and where your bike wouldn't get clipped by security as a "security risk"?
