Maiden Voyage Tomorrow (Friday)

My messanger bag should arrive today as well as my Marathon Plus tires to go on my CX bike. I brought my clothes in the office this morning for tomorrow and drove my route again to work (I've done this 3x this week). The local weather is calling for no rain tomorrow too. I did a dry run over the weekend which consists of a mix of industrial areas (potholes galore), 2 sets of rr tracks, some quiet neighborhood sidestreets and a tall bridge. The route is 10 miles one way.
I usually hang out in the Road Cycling and Racing forums but have lingered here in the past few weeks. Thanks to this forum for the tips and advice found here.
I will post an update tomorrow.

Nah, no one is gonna bust your chops if you don't do it everyday.

But dang Saddlebags, you have all those bikes and you have never commuted by bike??? What's up with that!

I should be able to 'commute' by bike at least 4x week. 2x/wk bike to the office. 2x/wk get on my bike and do my training ride then work from home. 1x/week drive to work (due to after work activities and to resupply the clothes).

I'm looking to add either a fixie/ss or another cx bike just for commuting. I still have room in the stables for another bike.
