Kogswell/Alfine question

Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a Kogswell P/R frame this summer. I also have the opportunity to get a complete Shimano Alfine groupset if I wish. I've never worked with internal hubs or disc brakes before, will they work on the Kogswell frame?

Internal hubs, yes. Disk brakes, no (not with frame mods, anyway).

Talk to the folks here:

for more details.

Thanks for quick answer, Forbes.

The P/R has horizontal dropouts which work nicely for internal gear hubs. Lots of folks build them up with IG hubs. But there are no disk mounts, just as Forbes said.

Are you in the U.S. ? If so could you say where you are getting the Alfine components ?
