My bike has no pedals :(

I can't believe I bought a bike on ebay (with no pedals) and forgot to order pedals for it. It's been sitting around since Tuesday, and I still have no pedals to put on it. I could steal pedals off my other bike, but that doesn't seem fair to my other bike, plus I need it to have pedals on it when I ride it to work tomorrow.

I did order some pedals. Hopefully they come tomorrow.

Here's the new bike. It's saying "HELP, I CAN'T FEEL MY PEDALS!"

And here's the other bike, the one I need to ride to work tomorrow, which therefore needs to keep its pedals:

They're siblings.

Nice rigs. I was admiring the Virata and my LBS earlier this week. Unfortunately, I'm in the market for a winter bike right now, so I had to pass it by. Enjoy yours!

I would have swapped the pedals day one. I can't believe you haven't ridden it yet. I do not have that kind of patience. Nice bikes, BTW...

Keep the pedals permanently attached to your riding shoes. Problem solved.

I'm just jealous of your rigs.

Oh, notfred, after posting the "I bought a bike, not at WalMart" thread, that bike deserves better. You should have a cheap backup pair of pedals, like some Fortes or Wellgos, anyway.

I hope the pedals that you bought came in Celeste as well:

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I like how the two bikes are 'negatives' of each other - slick.

Man, I ordered black Shimano pedals, and now I kinda wish I'd gotten those instead.
The Virata is still pedal-less. I rode the Axis to work this morning as planned.

I won't be able to ride this weekend anyway (I'll be out of town without my bikes), or I'd probably break down and swap the pedals (if the ones I ordered don't show up today) over to the Virata. I want to ride it.

She didn't come with pedals because she had no idea what you use. I'm surprised she even came with a saddle.

I thought that, too--the second one, with the parallel black lines. Definitely a crayon.

Gorgeous, but the poor thing!

Nice bikes! Very pretty; I'm quite partial to Celeste!

UPS says my pedals arrived at home, so when I get home, I should be able to install them, and then immediately leave to *drive* to L.A. where I won't be able to ride.

Maybe I'll be able to ride it into work on Monday. I've had the bike less than a week and it's already feeling neglected.
