Nice looking ride! I haven't seen a KHS in several years. Looks like they are leading the market in affordable, ridable bikes for real world riding. Did you happen to price out the Green model?(no MSRP listed) BTW now get to work and personalize that thing

That is a pretty sweat ride for commuting. Chainguard, Fenders (you might need a mud flap for that front one though), good gearing, looks like a sturdy rack and some good wheels.
They gotta work on their naming of colors though.
Flat Skidmark Gray
The color and the big tubes make it look nice and tough but that name

That looks like an awesome first commuter that is a non-walmart bike.
How is the ride? I don't care how much a bike cost or where you buy it, as long as you like the feel of the ride, that is what is important.

Nice! Great price, too. Good, wide gear ratios. Should last you quite a few years. If I may suggest when you purchase a new pump get a Topeak Road or Mountain Morph w/guage. They're around 35.00, but worth every last penny! Slime-filled tubes is a thoughtful touch, too. Have fun personalizing your new ride.

whoonc :My LBS carrys KHS and made me an offer I couldent refuse. And Aaron I have started to personalize it..give me a lil-bit I'll take the Garage Door Pics ASAP
Thanks
Dal I thought it was fitting.
evblazer :yes front flap would be wonderful..and the skidmark gray..looks like gun metal gray to me so no complants from me there.
Zoltani : I'd ride 4-5 miles on wal-wart bike and it would kill me..I can ride 30+ on this bike and still be ready for another 30
nash : Thats the fun part ..the add on's no...
I've not much to compare it to but wal-warts ..but its a Dang sweet ride..the brooks like saddle absorbes most road anomanlies.
I'd never buy another wal-wart after rideing this bike!!!

Thanks

That's a great bike. My favorite LBS sells a lot of KHS bikes and that one caught my eye when I first saw it. Looks like a sweet commuting rig. Congrats!
