Buying a new commuter

My commuter bike was stolen a couple of weeks ago and I am shopping around for a new one. I have a couple of models in mind but have a question. Does anyone one have experience with Basta Pilot lighting systems powered by a Shimano dynamo hub. I have experience with older generator lights and what bothered me about them is your lights dim when you stop. Does this happen with a dynamo hub?

The standlight electronics are in the lamp so it will work with hub or sidewall generator. Hub generators dont produce any power when you are stationary.
Standlights are a bit dimmer than fully powered dynamo lamps but adaquate to be seen.
