Just Started Commuting

HEY GUYS

Im 16,and i am a senior, i high school at Bridgeport high school in bridgeport west virginia. I jsut started commutin to school!?!?! its amazing,i get a 7 mile ride in bforeschol starts, andget to ride 7 miles home. Istop t m friends house and shower and leave my bike then go to school with him. I encourage all high school cyclists to commute

thats my 2 cents, reply with waht u guys think

I agree with you. I walked to elementary school, and junior high. I also commuted by bike in high school. It was great and I am glad you like it.

I agree that it should be encouraged. A shower isn't necessary if you don't push for a 7 mile commute.

haha u dont understand my commute, i climb the biggest hill in my county on the way to school at 6:15 in the morning, a shower IS DEFINATELY nessecary. HHAHA i love it though, by the end of the schoool year, i hope to be one of the better climbers in my cycling group, i have sum lbs to lose though, im 5'10 and 198 lbs,so i gonna keep it coming

I rode to school all starting in Jr Hi all the way until I was a senior. I also had to get my self to work, Boy Scouts and track mostly on the bike but when I worked my night shift my mom wouldn't let me ride so I took the bus. Of course way back when I was a kid it was hard keeping the candle lit in your head lamp

It is a grat thing you are doing not only for yoursellf but for your community keep on setting a good example
