Swap the drop bars for flat and you have...a hybrid! I had no idea I was on a CX bike. In fact, I recently cut down the handlebar width too, so I'm even technically legal for events (about 19.5 inch max width).

I wasn't a big fan of the hybrid when it was sold to me some 15 years ago, but I've gotta admit it does a great job for commuting for the same reasons that the CX bikes are so popular, it seems.
