I've got 700x35mm Airfree Hybrids(110 psi) on my #1 commuter, 700x20mm Daytona HP(105 psi) on my roadie(and#2 commuter) and 650x1.50 Airfree(140 psi high rebound and #3 commuter)on my MTB set up for commuting...do I have to offer odds?

BTW, 6800+ miles last year on the bike(s) and under 7000 in the truck. 2 flats...one in the truck and one on the mtb before switching to airless. Trying for over 7500 miles bike(s) and under 5000 truck w/no flats...we'll see.

Anyway, good luck and long flatless commutes for everyone.

I just put brand new Panaracer Urban Maxes on. They have 90 miles on them this week. New tubes, too. Just Forte standards, though.

I'm hoping I can get through at least the winter!

If you get a flat on your car, but not on your bike, does that count?

Count me in, I've only had 5 flats in 4 years, none for the last year. I'm on Nokians right now but will be switching to Conti Top Touring when the ice is gone for good (though I could have been riding with them for the last week). My Race Lites fell apart last year as I discovered I was running on the casings when I put the Nokians on (and I still didn't flat). There just isn't much debris on my route. However, the gravel does a number on the tires; my Race Lites had like 100 cuts on them when I tossed them.

Just last night I had a dream both my tires went flat on my way to work. With my thicker inner tubes and thick layered city tires I doubt I will get a flat anytime soon, then again I only ride 2-3 times per week.

I'm a female, so I don't lie about these things!!!!

Although, to be fair, I have more than one bike so I don't know how much I'll be riding the old tires...

Well I'm out already. My merlin flatted on my way home 1/11/08 oh at around 5:45 Central. Even worse left crank started hitting the chainstay from what appears to be the BB shifting 5mm to the right. I didn't think I hit any pedals/crank in my front wheel into the expansion joint episode. Oh well no wonder my left leg was killing me I just hope the Bluebonnet can fix her up.

No, car tires are full of those little wires that cause flats so it's no wonder you got a flat there

I guess technically I am out of the contest now. Rear inner tube somehow got punctured while putting on a different tire. And I wasn't even riding the bike.

Darned women... I bought an '83-ish Nishiki for my ex-girlfriend and tuned it up for her, about 3 years ago. The original tires were basically fine, and she rode them for about a year without any flats.

Until the *wheel* got bent while she was home for Winter Break. The bike shop pressured her into buying all new wheels and tires. With the new tires she has had only 1, maybe 2 flats, since

Well, I'm out thanks to what appeared to be chips from a broken beer bottle. I patched one but didn't notice the second until the tire went soft again down the road. Since it was getting late I pumped it up and started out again. For the rest of the way it was ride for 7 minutes and pump for 3. After 4 iterations of this I made it home before dark. My first flat(s) with this bike in 15 months. Damn contest.

I'm in. Right now I'm riding my DB Sorrento on 26x1.95" Kenda Hammers at 60 PSI. Lower when it's snowy. This is my foul-weather and singletrack machine. It's never, ever flatted. Ever.

When it warms up, I'll be on my Trek 1200. Bontrager RL Hardcase on the back, Bontrager Select on the front. Both 700x25. I got it May 1st and have flatted it at least 6 or 7 times, always the rear. I once had 3 flats in a day. That was one of those "call the wife for an extraction from behind enemy lines" days. Having good luck with the hardcase on the back, though. None since I switched it out.

I'm 15 bike commutes for 15 work days this year so far and don't have any plans to take a day off the bike. Count me in.
