I've rented a bike for a week so I could go around from my hotel to the convention and travel unrestricted during the evenings. And judging by the bike racks at the convention center, I wasn't alone. I also bought a bike at the Salvation Army during a 4 day stay at our corporate headquarters and gave it to the local bike coop afterwards.



Since I was in Santa Cruz, I wasn't the only bearded guy riding a BMX.
