I've just spent a wet and rainy afternoon reading all the strips from beginning to end. Excellent storytelling, great characterisation and I like the artwork too

I love the quote from 08/20 - "If you're thinking too much, you're not riding fast enough."

Yup. Cognitive therapy, bicycle style.

(And YAY! I love that Thistle is working in the shop now!)

Some more info from Kim West about the show this Sunday:

"For your convenience, you can call the show [from the U.S.] toll-free at 866.333.5966. You'll be put on hold, and will be able to hear the show while waiting for me to take your call. You can email questions for rick to me at kimwest@kxno.com, and I'll try to get right to them."

"And of course, you can listen live at kxno.com."

I could, that is, if I weren't 7 hours ahead of you! Bummer, because I've really enjoyed your comic for the past few weeks. Thanks.

Streaming link just went live https://www.kxno.com/cc-common/stream...?refreshed=yes

If you miss Rick on radio, listen to the podcast feed. It's at https://kxno.com/podcast/kimwest.xml
In itunes you can subscribe to that podcast by clicking

Advanced>Subscribe to podcast

Just paste the URL in the box then click "OK" It will download the show when it's available. I'm sure there are lots of other tools, besides itunes, but that's what I use.

Even if it does end, and sad an event that would be, it is still a worthy work that'll live for all time.

I'm buying a book because so many of the strip topics have happened to me just as they've happened to you and I'll be able to read them over and over and laugh again. Only riders that have been in the trenches will laugh at much of the Kickstand writings but they do so becuase they are so REAL.

I had to chuckle at Thistle's happiness at her first "no feet down" ride. I remember when I did my own and the silly joy at crossing that particular milestone.

If yehuda gives up the clunker for a rapid, i'll stop reading the comic in protest.

Hey Rick--

How about offering some bike-sized stickers? I know cafepress is limited in the sizes they offer, but you could double up the logo on one of the 3x5 stickers to allow the purchaser to cut into two 1.5x5 stickers that would fit better on a bike tube, or perhaps rotate 90 degrees and putting 4 logos on, to allow four 1.25x3 stickers, depending which aspect ratio works better for the logo.

Besides, wouldn't Yehuda want his picture on a bike instead of an SUV?

I think w/ this comic art very much imitates life. About two weeks ago on the MS-150 bay to bay tour I slept outside in a forest (and froze my tushy off). Then what does Yehuda go and do? He goes and sleeps outside in a forest!

This comic I can relate to like no other.

That's what I do for my bike stickers at Cafe Press - cram a bunch onto a bumper-sticker sized sticker. This way you get a bunch of stickers at once.

Me too! And why didn't he just loop the tent line around the bike? Anyone taking it would collapse the tent!

Wow! Found out about the strip from a post in the C&V forum. This strip is WONDERFUL and have had a great time reading through them today. Please keep up the excellent work, and I'll be sure to throw some support your way after the holiday season!

Oh, and *PLEASE* offer up some shirts on Cafe Press with a couple of the strips. These two are my absolute favorites and I would gladly buy a tshirt with one them on the front (or do both and I'll buy one each)!!
