I wouldnt be suprised if Rick eventually gets a mass publishing deal on this book. I think Yahuda is spreading like wildfire because Rick has created a comic that cyclists will be able to identify with. There is no other comic like this one at the moment. In comic strips there have been bicycling characters like Frazz and Calvins dad, but I have never seen a whole comic based around it. I love Yahuda's attitude. He's not preachy but he makes his points clear. Way to go Rick! Maybe I will get a copy for Shaker Library!
The art is getting better too. It started out well, but the subtlety is just amazing! Yesterday's

was pretty good from the subject matter alone, but the expressions and dialog, paticularly
Yehuda's final comment is just perfect! I put it up above my desk. The book is a must for me.

The bike ninja rides bamboo? That's some serious "bling", if that's the right term. Bamboo bikes, weirdly enough, are really cutting edge!

Love today's Yehuda Moon.
People don't understand that you can do something worthwhile while you excersize. They prefer to spin some bike in a room over biking outdoors. It's a strange phenonmenon.

Ya, today's was pretty good.
I love this strip.
My only suggestion for the website is that the drop down menu should stay on the last strip you chose. So when I'm catching up on the ones i missed I don't have to keep scrolling down and looking for the one I just read.

Well, after all, this way they are safe from those evil cars. The spin class at my gym promotes itself as a "safe" way to cycle - "no cars". Curiously enough I've been injured in a spin class. So much for "safe."

Heh. The one and only time I have had serious pain while biking was in a spin class (I was off all bikes for *weeks* while the saddle sores healed...).

???? why not just back up to where you left off with the drop down, then press the "next strip" button until you're caught up?

1. Anybody else wonder if his bike is Single Speed, Fixed Geared, or Internal Hub?
2. Anybody else thinking Yehuda costume for Halloween?

It HAS to be internal hub, probably a lovely old 3 speed. That's what I would want for Yehuda, anyway. (And now I am once again severely tempted to go and "liberate" The Boy's Dad's old Raleigh 3 speed from the garage... dynamo headlamp and all... poor dusty thing! It would be the Dad-bike because Mom is 6 inches shorter than I am, so I can't ride hers.)

If you look at Ricks profile it says he rides an Azor 108 which is a steel dutch bike with internal gearing. Yehuda does have a very similar looking bicycle in the comic only Rick would probably change up the name like he did to Rivendell Reader.

Rick, today's strip summarizes Colorado weather! 77 this afternoon, then comes the wind, then rain tonight, threat of snow, but unlikely, and my commute home is going to be chilly in the morning. Great job! I just realized that Joe is also the road biker who passes Yehuda a lot.

Today's comic was good, one thing I noticed, why does the officer appear to be shorter in the last frame of the comic?

Rick must write these a month in advance, since he posted about that incident he had with the police a while back. It's fun to see his real life drama show up in the strip!

I did not get it either, unless those were license plate numbers.
