A reason to keep your cool...

...amongst the nutcases out on the roads.

A lady was thrown into the middle of a busy highway when she got out of her car to apologize to another motorist for making a traffic mistake.

It's somewhat unrelated to bicycle commuting, but still, be mindful of crazy motorists looking to vent.

How sad...

Yup. SOmetime its crazy out there. I'm not a bike commuter as my commute is 66kms one way and there ain't enough hours in the day. In my bike travels, I've been the recipient of numerous thrown objects, swervings and even death threats. People suck and will take out their crap on anyone in their way. I have to remind myself all the time to not engage the idiots or I might get in trouble with the law, might get hurt or even killed. Its not worth it, I got little kids.

According to the story, she made a legal U-turn. Although she admitted to swerving a bit to do so, it doesn't sound like she did anything stupid.

They shouldn't have moved her off the road. She might, did, have had back injuries. Traffic be damned. Wait for the ambulance. Her only mistake was stopping and getting out of her car.
