I would like to know if any fellow commuters agree that in cities which are basically "bike friendly" that have Bike Lane signs posted......they need to be larger.....average drivers dont seem to pay much attention.....cuz I still almost get nailed every day!!! Ive already wrote my senators and congressmen...and city council about this.

I wish there were more bike lanes in my city, i know of two streets with bike lanes, but thats where the UPS, FedEx, and Soccer Moms decide to park! and they all look at me funny when i yell at em!

Every lane is a bike lane
They won't be properly respected until such time as people get better driver training. It's like all the other laws such as speeding, cell phones (in some places) and so on. A bit of law enforcement would soon fix the problem.
