Which would be better ?

I am looking at a couple of flat bar road bikes that a local shop has the first is a Haro Roscoe and the second is a Norco VFR5. I live in a small town so we don't have alot of bike shops, I already own a mountain bike for trail riding but would like something for street riding with the occassional trip onto walking/biking trails with my son so that is the reason that I didn't go for a strictly road bike. Any info you could give would be appreciated I don't see alot of info on the net about Haro bikes

I'd go with the Norco myself, but they're pretty close. If you can justify it, consider the Norco VFR 4 - the extra coin would be worth it. The biggest reason to get one over the other would be the test ride. Ride each one a couple of times to get a feel for how they handle. It's the most important factor when choosing a bike.

I'd go w/ the Haro, but only because I have one already and I like their bikes. They're better known as a BMX company although their mtbs are good too, so given that heritage, I'd assume their frames can stand up to some punishment. Also, IMO, the Haro's parts list edges out the Norco's.
