cycling shoe question

Hi all, this is my first post in the commuting forum, and am hoping you guys can help me out.

I am looking for a new set of shoes, and I was hoping to find something really walkable for commuting. Does anyone have any suggestions? The idea is that I want something I can wear all day if need be instead of having to change shoes like I do now.

Super light, super comfy, and they don`t stick out too much.

If you like sandals, the lake cycling sandals are very comfortable. They're pretty much all I wear. Took them canoeing/camping/hiking over spring break and my feet were very happy. I'm a big sandal wearer though, so when I think about shoes, sandals are the first thing that come to mind.

I use Shimano SH-MT20s. I've had them a little over a year, about 4,000 miles on them, and quite a bit of walking.

I wear the Shimano MT-41G's. Nice and comfortable, and you can walk around in them too.

I use Shimano M021s. I have sneakers at work, but the cycling shoes are so comfortable that sometimes I've forgotten I was wearing them and noticed I wasn't wearing my sneakers halfway through the day. I really only change because the Shimanos are very dirty most of the time, not because they're not comfortable.

Thanks for the help. I might try and order some of the specialized. I currently wear their road and mountain shoes, so I know their shoes fit me well.

+1 Its the only cycling shoe I use. Ive worn them all day at the office before.
With cleats for eggbeaters, the treads of the shoe are long enough to prevent
most floor-scraping.

Cannondale Roam, sold at REI. Too thin for a Minnesota winter but otherwise very nice. I've walked a few miles at a time in them.

I am using a more casual shoe, Shimano MT-21. You can walk around in them plus they look o.k. with casual clothes.

Bikes: several

I use the cheap end of Shimano's SPD (mountain biking) shoes.

I find them comfortable enough to be in them all day long, and I get a lot of mileage out of them.
