Bikes: Giant Excursion, Raleigh Sports, Raleigh R.S.W. Compact, Motobecane? and about 20 more! OMG
N+1 (where n equals the number of bikes you currently own)....I think I have around a dozen or so
newest one is a Redline R530 that just came in (get to pick it up on Tuesday
) Some of my bikes are for specific uses like touring. Others are older and I keep them just for the enjoyment of the occasional ride, like my 1972 Raleigh Superbe.

Three (sort of)
1) 2007 Specialized Tarmac Expert.
2) 2007 Specialized HardRock Disk Comp
3) 2008 Salsa Casseroll (build is in progress and will be built up as a fixed gear)
Once #3 is finished I will start on another project. I have no idea what that is yet.

Bikes: IRO Mark V, Karate Monkey half fat, Trek 620 IGH, Cannondale 26/24 MTB, Amp Research B3, and more.
I do not like to leave a written record of how many bikes I own. I would hate to have a damaging document appear before the household inquisition committee. But you can get a sense from the bikes listed in my sig.

i jam my thumbs up and back into the tubes. this way i can point my fingers straight out in front to split the wind and attain an even more aero profile, and the usual fixed gear - zen - connectedness feeling through the drivetrain is multiplied ten fold because my thumbs become one with the tubing.

Bikes: 1984 Trek 520; 2007 Bike Friday NWT; misc others
I commute on used bikes, partly for retro chic appeal, and partly to reduce theft or theft liability.
1984 Trek 520 tour bike, summer commuter since 2005
1990s Peugeot Mackenzie rigid mountain bike. winter commuter since 2005
1980s Panasonic sport road bike my main commuter from 1993 to 2005, retired, probably destined for Cuba
1990s Raleigh Century, bad purchase, also earmarked for Cuba.
I also bought new, a 2007 Bike Friday New World Tourist, as a travel and recreation bike

Two are "Mine":
1995 Specialized Rockhopper (winter commuter)
2005 Specialized Allez (spring/summer/fall commuter)
I'm not a huge Specialized fan, it just happens that I got good deal on the Allez
We have 3 other road bikes, one my wife will keep and two others that will be sold
in the next few weeks.
'74ish Peugeot UJ 10
'88 Peugeot Bordeaux
'86 Univega Arrowpace
I've commuted on all the above but only a few times on the UJ 10 since that's a pretty small bike for me. They're all in great condition and are nice bikes in their own way. I just rode the Univega the other night. It's going to be hard to sell any of them, but we can't really justify keeping 4 road bikes for two people.
Along with the above my wife has a Raleigh mountain bike and we have a number of kids bikes, trailers, tag-alongs, etc.

I've got two.
2006 GT Timberline
2008 Kona Jake
As mentioned on another thread, I'm eyeing number three, but when I get it the GT will be shipped off to the Community Cycling Center (an excellent destination for any bike).

3 fit to ride:
2007 Specialized Tricross Comp
~2005 Devinci high-end hybrid, model unknown (may've been made specifically for a bike touring company I bought it from)
1990s Miele Saturn MTB (primary commuter)
1 needs fixing:
1990s Miyata MTB (used to be the primary commuter before the rear wheel started busting spokes and the derailleur became unadjustable)

2006 Marin Lucas Vally Compact - My Daily Commuter
1996 Giant Iguana SE - My wet weather commuter (the slicks on the marin slide too much).
1989 Trek 1200 - Just bought this one for doing longer rides on the weekends.
1975 Raleigh GP - Converting to single speed for winter commuting
2007 Raleigh something or other Hybrid, wife's bike.
I want to get a 2010 Velorbis Churchill Classic.
