Questions on UV index.
Does riding 1 hour when the UV index is 1 as damaging as riding half-hour when UV index is 2 ? Besides sunscreen and wearing a balaclave , is there any other way to shade your face? Is there such a thing as a sombrero helmet?

A lot of people act tough like theres something wrong with caring about this stuff. If you've ever seen an older person with sun damage its not a rockin look. You've got to have your skin the rest of your life so you might as well take care of it.

Very useful picture, but shouldn't the 'Always' and 'Rarely' be reversed? For example if the UV is 3, wouldn't
you always get skin damage the longer you are exposed ?

You wear a balaclava in the summer? I had to google that word, but they look hot. I have a skin condition that makes me want to avoid sunburn at all costs, and I would gladly wear a mask like that if it were possible. But could you tell me please, how do you stand it? Isn't it like wearing a toboggan?
